Dunno -but I could take the same picture with mine  ??? Maybe the big one got a bit of a better start to the little one and grabbed all the light/nutrients?

I get the same thing; I can't explain it, I just throw them all in the pot.

snap Adrian, I make leeks vinaigrette from the little 'uns and pretend they are expensive baby veg (just l :o k at the prices in the supermarket and jingle the cash in your pocket)

Why does the toast land sticky side down? :D

They are all edible, I leave the thinner ones for last pullings, once cooked, they taste the same.
The impossible is just a journey away ...

Dear Curry

the reason your toast land s face down is that when you butter it you squash the bread down forming an aero dynamic shape casuing it to turn !

Avid watcher of myth busters lol   and they tried it all ways plain ans butter and the percentages of what did turn over and didnt turn over was to marginal to say that toast always lands butter side down
