Tim I am so glad your family will have all those records you have collated. I knew very little about my Father's family, unfortunately he died three months after I got married, I was 18.
My nephews wife (bless her) has done a lot of searching, I knew my Dad won the Military Medal in WW1 the medal is now in South Africa with my eldest brother's son. Barbara has found out so much even that my Dad was illegitimate (Oh dear) but was adopted by his Grandfather so his Mother more or less became his sister!!
All fascinating stuff , I have now made various records that my kids and grandchildren can look at in years to come.
