it wasn't so much Harrow as my guess as to how far a farmer might care to travel with a load of the stuff!

I know there's a lot of stables around the Bushey area - and the one my friend takes her daughter to has/had manure going.  And near me (over the Bucks border now - used to live in N Harrow) there's a lot of dairy farms and stables. The one who we all go to has sort-of run out for the season since a _lot_ of newbies took on plots, as I know someone who's been trying to get a load for a month now and isn't too happy that she's missed out!
