Just stumbled across a really lovely CHEAP book for children of lottie owners everywhere - a colouring-in book of common weeds, priced for a couple of quid (inc. p&p, used) on Amazon. I wish I'd known about it earlier, would have enjoyed getting sprog to colour in (winter) and dig up weeds for study purposes ;D during the season.
Hope this link might be useful for those whose sprogs are still pliable:

One of my friends has fantasies about getting the village kids to tackle her dandelions and paying them by tap root inches  ;D ;D ;D

Erm, I once paid kids (in sweets) to pick dandelion flowers for me to use for wine...

Sadly my children are too old for me to take advantage of that book, they are more likely to drink my wine now. Just out of interest, what does dandelion flower wine taste like .. ?
The impossible is just a journey away ...

Don't have a lottie, my child's al grown up, but I LIKE COLOURING IN ;D ;D ;D

If the illustrations are as clear as those on the cover, reckon it's a good buy.

Actually mine tasted quite foul  :(  and ended up being used in slug traps.
