Can anyone reccomend any good shows/ or gardens, particularly for vegetables.  I attended the potato show at HDRA in Jan, which was pretty good with lots of new and old vars available.

The Hampton Court Flower Show has a good size marquee thingy for vegetables. The HDRA run shows/ days/ lectures/ workshops on vegetables all year round too.  There website is:

I'd also recomend becoming a member if your interested in Organic veggies! Hope this helps!

There is a great veg garden at Audley End, Saffron Walden, well worth a day out in the summer.

As I recall, Stafford castle also has a replica mediaeval herb garden, not worthy of a day out, but definitely of interest if in the area.

If you're in South Yorkshire, both Chatsworth and Clumber Park have vegetable gardens that are inspiring and not too hard to get to.
