I wont be sowing much just yet, but one of the next things going in will be Aubergines. I will also do another deep pot of early carrots.

Then next month things start to speed up a tad with peppers and toms, chitting spuds etc.

Have a look here for a guide:

I've no idea whether this will work but I'm going to try an early sowing of pumpkin "atlantic giant". Just a couple of seeds, indoors obviously, and if it does germinate and grow the it will have to be cossetted. Seeing if I can maximise the growing season, just an experiment.
Make the most of today, because you'll never have it back again.

thank you ill try sowing a couple of thing in doors just to keep little loulou happy if it works it works thank you so much

Curryandchips

I have managed to germinate a few aubergine seeds in a warm spot at work, with a lot of light. I have a few lettuces doing the same, the idea is to plant them out in march, and have the first new season lettuces on the site. You could also try starting some broad bean seeds indoors, after a few weeks they should be sturdy enough to plant out. You daughter may appreciate the broad beans as they are such a big plant. Hopefully she will enjoy eating them too.
The impossible is just a journey away ...

Larkspur

I agree with Curry. Broad beans are great big seeds which will germinate easily at this time of year on a window sill or if you are prepared to wait a bit for them to come up quite reliably outside even in cold, damp soil.

thanks little loulou enjoys all veg (especially the eating ) she is just so impatient when it come to sowing and then picking so the more i can start the better (for my sanity)
