Rhubarb & rasps

Folks

I've got limited space on me plot at the moment and am looking at ways of fitting everything in.   I've got one bed which is just raspberry canes and wondered if I could underplant the canes with my rhubarb.   

The rasps have got a good deep bed comprising a mixture of well rotted horse poo and general purpose compost, so they're in a good strong mixture.

Does anybody know if the two fruit love/hate each other.

I think the problem would be that rasps are very shallow rooted & also send up new canes around the old ones & so I think the best thing is to keep the area around them clear.
