Nothing has been deleted from the site, there was however a dispute between some members of the site.

2 members are still banned, for varying reasons which they are aware of, I would not presume to announce on the site why these people are banned.

The bans may remain, they may not, it depends on a lot of variables.

I hope we can let the matter rest and move on.

OK Dan I won't mention it again, but can I please put in a plea for DTF? I really miss his helpful and knowledgeable advice. Whatever he did wrong he's  had a warning and hopefully it won't happen again. So please lift the ban and let him back. From now on  :-X

Rest assured, my only reason for asking about this 'subject' was because, as someone who was absolutely unaware of the problems, and having seen some rather cryptic and mysterious (well, to me, anyway) postings on the subject, I thought I'd stumbled into a parallel A4A universe!

On a need-to-know basis, your simple explanation has told me all I needed to know. Many thanks.

Oh, and by the way, I've offered some seeds in the swap shop, so you might get some requests for PM outbox facilities.

What a carry on !!!:
Technical problems, bans, all sorts of ups and downs. Members working tirelessly to sort these problems, for which I am eternally grateful.
Just like with the buses, problems don’t arrive in ones, and there have also been major events and changes in my personal circumstances. As a result, I don’t think I will be able to contribute as I have been doing. This is not to say that I won’t be around, I just need to focus my energies.

I think this thread has completed its objectives, so I will ask if Dan or grawrc considers it should be locked.
If anyone wants to send me messages, considering the limits on PMs, can you use my hotmail addy on my profile.

Thank you Dan and everyone, for making this a glorious site.
