Thank you all for your kind comments and encouragement to try and experiment with my pictures. This will be the last posting on the thread from me, hope you all enjoyed my watercolours and maybe it will encourage some to try for themselves.

I'll be sorry to see no more pics on this thread too, Dirkdigger, but maybe you stopping will force me to investigate the software! I've loved your pics but have one concern - how did you get the pic of my kitchen door for your last posting??? (Just kidding, sadly!)

Thanks again,

Margi x

Plocket

Your kitchen door Margi? That's my shed!!!

Margi

Sorry - didn't you know we've moved into your shed?

Plocket

Ah well it's quite a hike down the garden so you could have been there for years without the gardener reporting back to me!!!  ;)

Now GET WORKING!!!!! (I can't bring myself to tell you to bog off!) Pxxx

Dirkdigger

No problems at all Glyn, after all this is in the gallery. Wish more people would add there images in for everyone to see. Recognise the photo. What software are you using ? seems a similar effect to the way I process mine.

Glyn

PhotoShop. DD ;D

Love the sky in the last one Glyn. Do you use actions or adjust each image separately, found it easier and quicker to make action. one click and its all done.

Plocket

You guys are just brilliant! I just love what you have achieved! (And don't worry Glyn I am still painting!!!)

I do each layer separately. Same difference as "action" me thinks..only your way is probably faster?
;D ;D ;D ;D

A few more I have worked on. The two flower ones were taken this morning in my back garden, spring is on its way. Colours a little over the top but nice and warming in this cold wind.

Margi

I've just had a go at this, and decided to use my wedding photograph - what do you think?

Margi x

Dirkdigger

Very nice Margi, almost like a crayon drawing. Glad you decided to have a go wish more people would try. Wont necessarily make better photos just a bit of fun.
DD
This was an attempt to paint by hand. Like I said just a bit of fun.
