can anyone tell me if there's some reason i shouldn't use the membrane designed for underneath laminate flooring on my DIY polytunnel? :-\

it's available everywhere and really cheap (i'm skint at the mo)

i've done a search but there is so much on polytunnels that i might never find what i'm looking for.  ::)

is there a major drawback i'm just not seeing? it only needs to work for one or two seasons. chances are vandals will have wrecked by the anyway!  ::)

It'll do the job but after a summer or two it will start to go brittle & crack up due to the UV in sunlight

this is spooky....2 posts about the same thing at the same time....

today I visited my local garden centre and bought 6m x 1.5m of small bubblewrap - this with my chopped up garden hose and a few stones as weights will be making up my polytunnel experiment

the plastic only cost £8 too! is the flooring underlay any cheaper then?
