cold feet!!

I wear an old pair of steelie work boots with 2 pairs sox - they still seem to be fairly waterproof too.

I bought a new pair of Merrell walking trainers (like boots but not, if u see what i mean) before we went to Prague and was a bit worried about cold toes but with just one pair of thin cotton socks my feet were super-toasty even in snow. Will most definately NOT be wearing them down the lotty though.

The pocket warmer thing occurred to me too - you could just drop them into your wellies on top of your feet, they stay warm for over an hour. Got mine from Tchibo, were about £3 a pair.

found an angler store on-line and ordered a pair of neoprene socks....I'll let you know how they fare 8)

Cold feet update.......Got the neoprene socks, wore them yesterday WITH wellies and my feet did'nt suffer at all!! So neoprene socks get a thumbs up ;D ;D ;D

Glad to here they work - I forgot to sa ytry the anglers stores!  Is where I found them in my fishing days...
