Well I DID have tulips and Iris all coming through nicely but the squirrels are back. >:(

I am busy adding wire netting under the soil of every pot I've got, but is there anything I can do to be rid of them?

Sadly, the neighbours cat who used to live with us died this year, and the squirrels have definitely clocked that! :(
To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven: a time to be born and time to die: a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted.     Ecclesiastes, 3:1-2

Unfortunately, the answer's no short of trapping them.
If it's any consolation, they hunt for bulbs by scent. After about 6 weeks bulbs' scent is gone, so those in the ground should be safe. Pots are more difficult because they're liable to bury things in them and wreck them in that way.

d**n things have been burying acorns in the raised beds on my plot, and quite deep, as well. At home they torment my westie by running past him and then on to the fence. As white dogs can't jump... he just barks his frustration.
What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?
