Some people used alanromans.com onlineseed sales last year.
I wonder how it turned out...... ??? ??? ???

Well he seems to have a good reputation with T&M.  His prices for herbs at 50p per pack, with comparable quantities and known varieties, are outstanding.

Will also probably buy his book on Potato selection.

Now thinking about his potatoes as well, Maris Peer, Mimi, Nicola and Picasso.

Just muddling along, trying various crops, styles etc, will repeat what works. Will try again what doesn't!!
Photo is of me ballet dancing or is it watering the strawberries?

I've bought from alanromans, and very pleased with the service - received a hand-written note to explain an problem with my order, and a refund and an extra packet of seeds.  I believe the site has only been up and running for 1 year.  I hope to buy potatoes from his site when they are available.

I bought from the site AlanRomans.com earlier this year for the first year of my allotment. Everything did very well indeed. At 50p for each pack of seeds I would say they are outstanding value.

I have just bought a preliminary 16 packets of veg seed for next year, an investment of only £8 (post free).  I shall be shortly ordering some flower seeds at that price, it shows how expensive full price packets are in general.

On the website he says he will shortly be offering seed potatos, it will be interesting to see how competitive prices are. He only sells smaller seeds, not beans or peas for instance, that is why it is post free if you order over £5 of goods.
