URGENT Electric Shredders??

Hi All
Can anyone please tell me the pro's and cons of electric shredders??? I'm bidding on one from ebay and I would truly appreciate any knowledge of them!! Cheers Kev

The bigger the wattage the better. The one to avoid is one with an archimedes type screw blade (Bosch do one and they do not work)
New ones are between 150 and 250 for a reasonable one for most gardens.
Anything else you need to know?

Hi Kev, the consumers' association did a test in Sept 2003 with some hints on choosing, safety etc. - worth a look?  ::)
