Went to the Carbooty today, not been to many of late and stubbled upon this Generator ;D Tried my hardest to barter him down but he wouldn't have it, >:( even after going away and coming back twice :( Anyway I paid the asking price £50 :-\  was that a bargain?

I believe it is quite old as I can't find one on the net to compare a price, but being a Honda (Good Make) and owning a Honda Tiller that I am really chuffed with, I couldn't resist it ;D

It starts first pull as you would expect from a Honda although only 1200watt it powered a 1450watt Flymo and did a good job of the lawn and a 1750 watt chainsaw (separately).

My Daughters Hubby (God bless him) ;D has most of the 240volt power tools I would need for my lottie :P so I'm chuffed as a squirrel with nuts ;D

If it works (it obviously does) and is going to do the jobs that you want it to do then its good value for money

Well done Roy, that's a bargain :D ;

Went to an auction on Friday, and generators half the size of that one were going for £60 -£70.

It's amazing what you find at carboots :D

Definitely a bargain. Jammy git  ;) ;D
Make the most of today, because you'll never have it back again.

Hi Roy,

Yesterday at our local car boot (Cuffley) I saw the same beast for £65.  OH said we should buy it but we have no lotty.  I thought "what for"  ::) ;D ??? So we left it there.  Yours is definitely a very good bargain !
