I've murdered Neville!!!

I like spiders, always have, but scared stiff of them!! Bit wary upon finding a little spider in the car.  Find it hard to kill things, so decided to try and rub along with it, called him Neville.  He was a happy spider, kids loved him, I tolerated and grew to love him. Webs in back fine, mostly knew where he was. Today he'd made a wonderful web across the front passenger seat. "Aha" thought I, I can get you by thread and remove you with no agro and no touching... Carefully got him on end of thread, gingerly across lap to open door and freedom and.... he wriggled!  I dropped him, screamed and..splat!! Neville now on my trousers, alot larger and thinner!! I killed Neville!!!!  Lottie  :'( :'( :'(

Awww that is really sad, I feel for all creatures, I even will carefully take wasps outside. I will have to consider a suitable musical tribute, thinking now, perhaps an cancion de cuna, seems apt yes.

Sniff. Sniff! You'll have to scrape him off my trousers first, he had such a limited life, but seemed so happy.  Not told kids, cat just died...! Bob missing and boiler man and electrician very noisy in shed.. thanks for box though Dibber, wil scrape him off in morning..... Lottie  :'(

I've decided to stop helping wildlife......At work today found tiny, liitle newt in the area I was clearing.  Picked him up very gingerly, carried him to safe area, knelt down and put him on leaf.  Stood up, and watched him hurled into space!!! I'd been kneeling on the end of the branch the leaf was attached to.........Just hope he thought to open emergency newt parachute!!!!! Perhaps I'm in wrong lne of work.....? Lottie  ;D
