Mistaking courgette sizes

I'm growing Rondo di Nizza courgettes this year for the 1st time and being very short sighted wear glasses all the time.  I've been picking them when they're a bit bigger than a golf ball (apart from one which escaped notice beneath the plant).  Trouble is I put my contact lenses in today and suddenly discovered that golf ball size in glasses was tennis ball size (or bigger) in lenses (and real life).  Now I've got a tennis ball but anyone got a spare golf ball I can use for comparative purposes when picking my courgettes? ::) ;D
