And Pete Doherty- what a hypocrite- when i think of the damage caused by drugs in britain and in the poorest countries in the world- people trafficking, killing, prostitution, theft and ultimately more poverty. And this little pr**k decides to have a very public drug habit. Theres no such thing as fairtrade cocaine!! >:(

ok, this is a big thing, especially during Glastonbury, Pete made mistakes and since he's been on rehab and so forth. hes now trying to make amends, i think we all can still think of other stars who ahve been on drugs?? Macca?

I do agree though about the artists just doing it to look good. it wasnt meant to be a publicity stunt, but you have to wonder about some of the bands....

Lucky him for having the chance to 'make amends'. His record sales have dipped 35% accordingly, and deservedly too
I LOVE OP AMPS!

If I can just chip in......during the miners strike I was moving from Norfolk to the Manchester area with a van full of furniture. Whilst driving through Nottinghamshire I was stopped by police and had my van searched. As far as I was concerned this was a violation of my civil rights.
I was clearly under suspicion of being a flying picket. I WAS FURIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! >:(
However......if a family member or close friend had been killed or injured in London yesterday....They could search all they like of me and mine.......Dont know what this proves, just thought I would mention it!!

probably shouldn't but going to chuck my two penny in and say I do think that you were extremely harsh Rosebud by jumping on someones opinion just because they are young.  We should be pleased that young people are taking interest in what is happening in the world and everyone is entitled to their own opinion regardless of age, gender etc. etc.  This is a very emotive issue with a hell of a lot of view points and there is no point discussing it on a chat board unless people can do it without getting personal.

Hear, hear!!! i agree. thanks Justy!
