I want to get some peas in quickly, think I have a vague memory of reading that soaking peas overnight makes germination quicker ??? ??? ???
Is this true?.....£ to a pile of manure someone will know?!!

i do know that if you soak your peas in parafin the night before they are less likely to be eaten by mice
takes over your life doesn't it

Yes I soak em I used to put them in a jar with wet paper hand towels but that was a little slow so I half covered them in water and changed the water each day until there was growth, then grow on in pots or bog roll inners and bung em in when about a couple of inches high, works great for me and does the meeces out of a meal. ;D

Anything that does the mice out of a meal is fine by me! ;D

Thanks Roy

Make your trench and sow lots of peas, forget the '5' spread rule...get a handful and throw them in, too many can be thinned! Forget soaking, just get a move on.

Or you could start them in root trainers and then plant them out when they have got going.  That's what I've done and keeps mice away.
