help new to this growing lark!!!!!! ::)went to my plot today after a few days off and lost all my cabbage to birds :'( what i need are tips on what i can fill in the gaps with is it to late??? any help would be great.sprouts?pumpkins??money tree?? ;D

Got to be a money tree  ;D Have you checked out local garden centre - maybe you could buy some plants to put in. Or what about quick growing stuff like radish, spring onions etc.

We have some spare sprouts and purple sprouting broccoli if they're any good to you, let us have your details in a pm and i'll post you some - don't know how well they'll travel but your welcome to them :)
