Burning things you have grown only releases the same amount of greenhouse and other gases as the plant absorbed in the first place.  Consequently, burnign the odd bit of stuff is not bad for the environment.

Releasing greenhouse gasses is'nt bad for the environment? Every bit of GH gas released is bad. Burning isn't the worst way of disposing of it but it's certainly not the best
