Dublin Bay for Heldi

Hi Heldi,

As mentioned on the BBC site, the pics below are of my Dublin Bay rose. Redder than a red thing.  Just a shame it's not scented - or maybe I've got a poor sense of smell!  The colours look a bit different only because of the light.  The top one is the most like real life.

Wow Trillium what a stunner! A feast for the eyes. A rose like that draws you in doesn't it! Did I ever mention red is my all time favourite colour?!  ;D  Lovely. To think when my Grandma had roses in her front garden,and nothing else except bare soil,I thought they were the most boring things. Now we know how to plant them in more interesting ways they've become one of my favourite blooms. (Especially when they are white or red  ;)!
