Topic: I.W. Garden show

Now is the time off year all the cheapskates come over to the island for a cheap holiday. The kids are back at school and there are coach loads of 'Saga-nauts all over the place. So all of you who will be over here this weekend pop down to Wolverton Manor for a really good garden show. The weather is still mediteranian,(not damp like derby) so you can still wear your summer clothes and sandals instead of visiting an allotment open day in your souwesters and wellies. ;D

I shall be there holding court at the garden pavilion we used on our gold medal garden at GWL. We are raffling it for Age Concern, so a lot of you should get the benefit. ;)


Oh oh! I just realised you have to pay to get in, but if you sidle on down to the bottom of the car park you could slide under the fence, but don't catch your drawers on the barbed wire.

Sounds good to me, but I am an old wrinkly and too old to get through the fence, still got sexy knickers. (That will probably be edited out).   Watch out, might get all the old folks from the home, to come on a trip, but they will probably forget where they are going or what they are seeing.  Please don't mock the old people, you will be there soon, if not already.  Saga is now for the over 50's and have heard their holidays are very good.
