As some may have noticed previously, I periodically encourage people to write a history of their own allotment site. It does not have to be a huge tome; many are simply the equivalent of a page of A4.

I have added another 7 links to local allotment site histories. They include:

Just read your piece in the new NSALG mag, BAK.  Very interesting.  Every site has a story to tell.  Keep up the good work.

For anybody who is wondering what this is about, I penned a piece for the NSALG magazine as part of my "crusade" to persuade people to write a history of their own site. It includes an abbreviated version of the history of our site - Sunningdale Allotments in Berkshire.

I'm a bit crfitical of the history of the Guinea Gardens, but it'll do for the moment. I keep meaning to do a new one.

In addition, Great Somerford (one of the oldest allotment sites) is mentioned. Unfortunately, the material is only in book form and the link simply tells you how you may purchase a copy.
