Duck problem
« on: April 16, 2007, 10:24:05 »
Does anyone have any ideas on how to discourage ducks from using our pond.  I have just cleaned it out and replanted it so as to make it more attractive to wildlife, now all I need to do is discourage the couple of ducks we have that visit every now and again. The only problem is that there is a little pool above the pond that the local birds use as a bath, and I don't want to discourage them, just the ducks.

At the moment I'm just chasing them off when I see them, but I can't do that when I'm at work!  so any ideas would be much appreciated.

I would appreciate a visit by your ducks into our pond which if rife with duckweed.
I don't have an alternative to getting rid of this perniciuos weed!
