Yep......... it's that time of year again alright ..... mine have been at it for 2 days now.

At one point to day one female had four males chasing her.......some might say lucky girl  ;)...........but not if you could see how rough they were with her  :o.  They even managed to pin her up against some plants and she couldn't move....... she'll need her rest later!  ;)

I feel sorry for the poor frogs as well, they were getting a rough ride too........ it was like a wave machine had been turned on for them...  :D

Maz it may be that your water temperature is not warm enough, Maz do u have a UV and filter or do u depend just on plants to keep your water clear

Well my fish are barely awake yet, its still too cold up here for them to be 'uniting'.  They swim around on warm days when we get them but really not so active yet.

Eunuchs??  :o  Who's gonna go in there and check?  ??? ;)

dibber you may be right about the temp. I don't have any filters etc just a pump to keep the water moving. Its a raised pond ( 2 actually) and a very amateur effort at that.  I wont even show you piccies cos you'll all laugh  ::)  :-[

I need more plants I know but its so hard to find them. Its not as if I live in a tiny obscure little village in the highlands of Scotland.  >:(  Transport is a prob for me....... I dont have any.  ::)

Our new fish are still finding their way around the pond, however our indoor fish are going at it hammer and tong!  We are on our 4th litter of cichlid babies, platties/mollies/endlers just keep doing it doing it doing it!  At some point, fish are going to rule the world!!  ;D
