My hop plants are up to the top of the shed roof, prima donna, doing quite well! It is absolutely covered in white fly though but it hasn't stopped it shooting up. I was about to start zapping it with fairy liquid today, until I saw a ladybird trotting up one of the bines.
I love lady birds. There babys are 'orrible little monsters but they eat green & white fly by the dozen. Think I'll wait for nature to run it's course.
