comfrey seeds
« on: October 22, 2012, 17:42:47 »
Hi does anyone have any comfrey seeds they are willing to swap with me.
I have lots of veg seeds ready for next year so don't want to list them all but I don't really want to blag a freebie as I know that can offend.
let me know if this request is ok?

If you're on allotment site, I'd suggest you ask someone for a comfrey plant- it's so easy to divide and someone's sure to have some spare. If not, let me know and I'll send you a piece of mine. i got mine from another member here, so it seems the right thing to do!

Try to get the bocking 14 type as roots as it has sterile flowers and hence does not spread like wildfire.. .It has purple/mauve tubular flowers... not flat small blue daisy type flowers..
Now a member of the 10 Ton club.... (over 10 ton per acre)    2013  harvested 588 Kg from 165 sq mt..      see my web blog at...  http://www.gavinconway.net
