Seed Help?
« on: February 24, 2012, 15:29:55 »
Hey folks

I have been to order some plug plants today from the chap I always get them from, Tom who grows them is 84 years old but still works his fingers to the bone growing plants for loads of local allotment holders.

Today he told me a tale about his Dad who ran the place before him trying to grow a tomato called elegance, his Dad could grow the plant but never get them to set, he also had the same problem with other tomato seeds from the same company. Tom said how he'd like to try these seeds again but couldn't find them, he found a place that sold the plants at a fiver each but being a good Yorkshire bloke he wouldn't pay that and anyway, " I want to grow them me sen"

Anyone have a clue where I could get my hands on some seed to surprise him?

Save the seeds from a couple of toms and you won't have to go looking again.
