A bit of snow and new technology fails...again
« on: February 04, 2012, 23:01:20 »
In the middle of an episode of Foyle's War on Sky I hadn't seen, a bit of snow and no signal  >:(

Analogue is still perfect, but that gets switched off next month.

I dispair at new technology sometimes.

(No - I'm not going out in the cold to gather up a snowball and throw it at the dish  ::))

We loose digital everytime someone in the neighbourhood uses an electric lawn mower.   It does not like mobile phones either, I have to put mine in a different room and my daughters one really upsets it.

And when the digital goes so does ceefax, hate the red button service.

No freeview so hubby and I got the Scrabble board out  ;D he won as usual!

Digeroo I'd have a complain to the supplier of the signal, I'm going to have a nag at Sky and say if they can't supply a service in snow I'm away to find someone who can!

Sky dish cunningly put outside large bedroom window on front ledge. Very easy to clear  :)

It's is a bit annoying though.

Always treat digital switch over with total indifference as we've been sky only for 6+ years after the booster went up in smoke! Ariels cr!p too.
A space? I need more plants......more plants? I need some space!!!!
