Just to show that the sun does sometimes show itself in north wales :D. This is the view from my kitchen window. Great to have your cornflakes and just gaze. Sometimes it is so clear that you can see the cafe at the summit and see the train carrying sightseers going up the side.

Wow! Mimi, you must spend all your time looking out of the window, what a fantastic view. You must really get a sense of the changing seasons. :) busy_lizzie

Sorry forgot to give you the location. Assumed that you would all know >:(stupid woman) This is a view of Snowdon. We can see the whole of this side of the Snowdonia range from here. Wish that we had video facility then you would get the real panoramic view.

Its funny, when my parents lived in West Wales, my father took parties of guests to Snowdon almost every week in the Summer and in 10 years he NEVER once managed to get a picture of the Summit free from cloud. Did not matter how much Sun there was elsewhere on the trip as soon as he pointed the camera at the peak up rolled the clouds.

What a wonderful view. Nice to see the mountain clear of cloud.
I once spent a day walking in Snowdonia (the Glyder range), but there was so much cloud you couldnt see Snowdon or anything else for that matter above a certain height. Pity but it was the only day available to go.

4555 - as a pilot, that's the sort of view I was brought up to expect.
And holidaying in sight of Snowdon, many years ago, was a breath of fresh air.
You are so lucky. I won't ask about the bicycle ride - or whatever! = Tim

All I can think is that it must be global warming or some such! In my late teens, spent all my summers in Snowdonia and whenever I climbed up, was freequently sunny!
We got the view from the other side, Mimi! ;D

I was contemplating posting a picture of the view from my kitchen window but I doubt I would get as many responses for a picture of the roof across the street hahaha.
You are not just lucky with your view, you are really lucky that you can appreciate it!
Wonderful.
