Dendrobium Emma type
« on: February 09, 2005, 09:23:48 »
I bought one of these a little while ago and it has been great.  I have followed the instructions on the label and given it a soak in warm water once a week.  Now the flowers have gone and there aren't any instructions on the label as to what to do now.  Do I need to cut the flowering spike back or leave it?  Any other information I need?

Thanks!!!

Viv, I cut the flowering spike back on my orchids, though I did read somewhere that if you cut the spike back by half, you may get a second flowering. (Didn't sound right somehow to me, and has never worked for me either!)  DP
