KLC Planting Design Course

Has anybody heard of KLC Open Learning Designing with Plants course?  It's advertised in Gardenrs World and states that if the 3 pieces of project work are completed successfully you can sit RHS Level 2 in Horticulture.  I don't need it for a career but quite fancy doing a garden design course but don't want to spend £300 on something that has not been recommended. :-\
