WOW! Lovely parsnips. Never grown successful 'snips before, always ended up stumpy, like tennis balls! And the sprouts, they are known as gods green gold balls of lurve in this house....well, just by me really, and no, I am not the least bit religous, unless mother nature counts! Fabulous! I'll be round at 7. :P

mmmm sprouts and smips. yummy.
Did they taste as good as they looked? How long were the snips? (it's hard to tell in that pic). I hope my snips look that good next year!

The sprouts are
Maximus
and the Parsnips are
Countess.
Not over enchanted with the sprouts, large and plentiful Yes! but a bit too open textured for me, they hold too much water after cooking.
Strange thing with the Parsnips, I have been trying new varieties over the last two or three years and these are the best I have had.
Trouble is...........I order my seeds in October, which is before I have tried the ones that are ongrowing.
I have ordered a different variety again (The Student) not knowing how good these one are. So its a case of buying another packet of 'Countess' or growing 'The Student'
Anyone had any success with 'The Student' ?
