Rosie says 'hello'

Hi there everyone..happy new year!
Let me introduce myself, my name is Rosie and I am a veterinary student at Bristol university, (South-West).
As you may guess, I am very animal orientated. I have been vegetarian all my life and in London always had a trusty allotment to get my hands grubby and grow my own. In Bristol allotments seem harder to come by, however I am finally next on the local lotties' waiting list, and after waiting for more than a year (!) have found myself in no financial situation to buy in seeds....how ironic...
After having read your friendly swapshop posts, I was wondering if any of the pro's out there had any surplus seeds of ANY edibles they could spare me...?
My wish(fulthinking) list was:
cabbage/sprouting broccoli
carrots
parsnips
courgettes
peppers
tomatoes
lettuce/chard/rocket
onions/leeks
herbs
Should you be able to 'sponsor the student', please reply and I can send you a SAE
Thanks in advance,
Rosie

hi Rosebud,
thanks for your reply,
I had planned on veggies, but I'm famous for never saying 'no' when it comes to seeds...
I have just recently moved house and would love some seeds if you can spare them, since the garden has been neglected somewhat...
Lovely to get the ball rolling, thanks again
Rosie
ps PM me your address and I'll get a SAE to you asap

Rosie, welcome! Having been an impoverished student myself many eons ago, (remember living off angel delight and jacket potatoes for weeks!) I will gladly donate to your cause! Don't know what you will get though!
PM me your address- Dottie P.

Rosie, are you still looking for seeds? PM me your address as I may have some leftovers that I can send you if you're still looking.

Rosie if you are still looking I probably have a couple of things you could have too. Think I might have peas if you are interested, also parsley, coriander, basil, peppers....
That is all I can think of for now, let me know if you want something. :D

Hello Rosie,
Sorry I didn't spot your message before. Do you still have any wants? Let us know what you've got already. I'm sure that there must be something you haven't got, and I may be able to help. Failing that, do you know Alan Romans is offering all his packets of seeds for 50p each.

Best of luck in your new home and fingers crossed for a lottie very soon.
