Chrissy trees & deco's!
« on: December 16, 2004, 12:34:24 »
As we are all getting into the Christmas spirit, I thought it would be nice to share photos of our trees and deco's.  I will start the ball rolling with a photo of my tree and fibre optic snowman.  Please note there should be more baubles on the tree, but thanks to a very naughty dog we are a few missing >:( ;) :)
Look forward to seeing a few festive photos :D :D

Ok Pat here's mine!! We'll change it next year for a smaller one as it's a bit tatty and past it's best. Pity all the little lights don't show up very well as they make it much more presentable.

Your tree is lovely Eileen,  not tatty at all.  I agree with you that the photos do not do them justice though.

I hope you are the first of many - I love seeing other people's trees - if only to get ideas for next year ;) :D

Oh your trees are lovely! The Snowman is excellent - I really like fibreoptics. And is that a festive tablecloth I spy Eileen?

We've gone minimal this year with the tree and a mesh of lights in the window. We have a tiny fibreoptic tree on the kitchen table as well!

This is the best I can offer as our tree isn't up yet, I have put lights on our Palm tree, I wonder if I could capture it in the dark? ???

Frosty the snowman is one of number one son's school projects, and then there is our tree.  I keep redecorating it, but as soon as my back is turned the kids have stripped it down and are wearing baubles as earings and tinsle as hair!  Sorry it is a touch out of focus, couldn't get the camera to focus on the flashing lights in the dark!  :D

Cor Rosebud and Doris.  V.nice, in fact they all are fabulous.  Makes me wish I had more decs around the place.  Always think I have loads until they are out and about, and of course every year a few end up in the bin as they are passed their best or the kids get a hold of them.  Keep them pictures coming, you must all have your decs up by now.

 :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Optical illusion. This is not a tree but wires run in front of the floor-to-ceiling window and decorated like a tree. From the outside it looks so real that people have commented on our big tree in front of the window, from the inside it's obvious that it's flat. The bottom part of the 'tree' is not visible because I took the picture down to the glass top table in front.
