that's Salsify............getting ready to seed itself all over your plot :D

I rather like it. Does it seed prolificly or can I hapily let it go to seed?

it's a root vegetable by the way. Grew it for a bit, and let it flower. Hasn't stuck around after I decided to get rid. It is attractive

I tried to grow some this year after seeing it on a neighbours plot but it did no good
