Greenhouse construction problem
« on: April 12, 2010, 13:56:37 »
Hi

We have moved our greenhouse, we only removed the glass and detached  the roof from the walls, so re-construction was simply re-attaching the roof back to the walls.  However we seem to have developed a massive bow in both sides, we haven't attempted to put the glass back yet as it looks like an impossible task.  Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions as to where we are going wrong?

what size is your greenhouse????if its an aluminium greenhouse it is the glass that will give it back its form , I fit upvc patio doors and without the glass they all feel very weak

Thanks for your advice, we did wonder if the weight of the glass would make a difference.  We are going to cut the frame slightly and then have a go at fitting the glass.  We put the same post under 'basics' and got similar advice so thanks to all.
