Untidy gardener
« on: November 23, 2004, 16:28:08 »
Sometimes it is good to leave plants alone for the winter.

I think this is stipa gigantica or something along those lines, and it looks wonderful in the mornings all frosted!

I don't think it's stipa gigantica - the seed heads on that arch over and droop down a bit more. Tis lovely, though - kind of looks like really big wheat.
gone to pot :D

Ahhh Richard, there are lots of things I should do, but with 2 children at your heels, stepdaughter at your shoulder and grandad nattering away.......names of plants seem rather unimportant.

But with your lovely 'handyman' bringing you trays & glasses of goodies all the while?? = Tim

PS  - As to the grasses - do agree.
