We had them one year and they were ok. Mouse ate them last year so he thought they were ok as well ;D

Mouse tried it before our June sale last year... it was his last ever meal... I hope he enjoyed it! :-X

Last year, I saw a squirrel carring a cob. It stopped about 10' away, took a nibble and then threw it away.
Did not think ask what variety, as obviously not a very good one.

When you think of the size of a mouse and then the size of it's tummy. One corn seed must be a full days meal for it.

well the mouse must have had his whole family with him or have taken the seed to store cos the whole 50 sweetcorn were gone ;D

I know they run off with them... as one came up in the border of the big greenhouse.. a long way from the planting area, where he had obviously dropped it... ::)

I had some cardboard sleeves round my celary and found stashes of peas inside when I dug the celery.
