onion sets £ 1.70 500grms, turbo, sturon, stuttgart,
shallots £1.27 500 grms, golden gormet, red sun.
gooseberrys red & green, black & red currants all £1 each.

Just don't mention the seeds. It'll set the SAA's off again ;)
(Wilko 3 for £1.50, or £2.50 for the larger ones like peas and beans, Johnstone seeds are all normal price)

last year i grew the maris peer and the stuttgart onions, good crop from both. :)
STOP MENTIONING THE SEEDS!!!!!!!....i keep getting withdrawal shakes everyday :(
some people are just plain cruel, there is no help group for seed addicts you know, we are the forgotten ones.

I grew Desire potatoes and Turbo onions last year, both from Wilkinsons. will use them again this year for onion sets and main crop spuds.

The onions seem to be cheaper this year. I wouldn't buy them last year cos of the price. I'm afraid that Wilkies will have to wait for a while for us cos we can't get out at the moment. We do get the spuds there but have to buy the Nadine from elsewhere as they only do the small packs

I bought my shallots and onions yesterday and i've just checked my recipts and they all went through at £1.27 (incl my shallots 500 grams)
