I sorted my stuff out yesterday to put in the parcel. I could do with making another parcel of me own. ;D

It's good to be prepared  :) :) :)

If you have loads, why not start another parcel?  There will be enough people to join in, I'm sure.  I got 25 joiners in less than 24 hours!  Just so long as we know which parcel is which, last year I think a couple of people signed up to a couple of swaps and weren't sure which was which when they turned up.  In which case I think I'll pm the next person who get the parcel to write the title of the swap on the list, so that won't happen!

Another thing to bear in mind is the pending strike - and Christmas.  Keep an eye on the news.

And keep the cryptic clues going - it's such fun  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well by the time it has gone round the first ones won't have seen all the seeds so we could start again. I think I will stick with this one for now Asbean

It arrived this morning! Going to have a root about in my seed box to find some interesting seeds to go in, will be on it's way in the morning to Frank Spencers wife, where she lives could be mistaken for Lyon or Milan, and it appears she is a fan of the fruit of the vine genus cucurbita! EASY!!  ;D

I am so annoyed.

Usually there is nobody at home while I'm at the allotments every morning but my son is staying here for a few days so I didn't worry about the seeds being delivered and there being nobody in to sign for them.

Except that the postman didn't knock and just left a card saying that the parcel had been returned to the delivery office.  There's no chance that he knocked and my son didn't hear because my dogs would have barked.

On the card it says I have to leave 48 hours before collecting it.  That will be Saturday now because they are only open till 12.

B*gger!

So sorry, but the parcel will be slightly delayed on its journey now.  :'(

Awww how disappointing for you. Nevermind, you'll have it for the weekend to enjoy.  ;)

Hubby was just saying yesterday that Sarah Kennedy was on about just that sort of thing happening on a Radio 2 discussion. Apparently goes on quite a bit.

They're having a laugh aren't they?  Down here it can be up to 4 hours depending on how far through the round the postman is.  Our sorting office is also only open until lunchtime but you can always collect a parcel the morning after the card is left, sometimes even on the same day if you're lucky.
