Where were all the Christmas Day sprouts, folks surely some of you must have had them on your plates ??? ??? ???

Picked mine on Crimble Eve for Crimble Day and had them in the bubble with cold meats last night!

Ninny  :)

Rhubard (had frozen it cooked) crumble and cream.  Put some Kelloggs crunchy nuts cereal in with crumble and on top and it was very good, think I may have seconds soon, or should I have Xmas cake (I made) or chocs.  Maybe later.

Found a small bowl full of self-seeded lambs lettuce, looking good after all the icy weather.  The inner leaves of the broad leaf endive under the cloches are ok too and with a handful of rocket from the greenhouse we managed a nice salad.

As well as the normal... leeks, sprouts, potatoes, cabbage, onion soup, parsnips ... while cleaning out the greenhouse fund a couple of cape gooseberries in their shells... very nice they were too!  :)

Yesterday was spuds, sprouts, onions and celeriac.... running low on celeriac, run out of onions except in the pile of frozen onion gravy....there's about another six pickings of sprouts left I estimate, potatoes holding up well.... I'm managing to eat them as they show chits and I've still got half a sack of PFA and some Congo....
