Lettuce in chicken and lettuce bread rolls (homemade)  8)
Please don't be offended by my nickname 'Mortality'
As to its history it was the name of a character I played in an online game called 'Everquest'
The character 'Mortality Rate' was a female Dark Elf Necromancer, the name seemed apt at the time and has been used alot by me over the years.

started basil really early (indoors) this year, a lot of it as I didn't really think it would do too well being out if its normal time zone, so to speak and as luck would have it, it has done brilliantly and got a glut so making pesto - needless to say homemade pesto is to die for and amazing on a simple bowl of home made pasta  :)

Firstly I have no lottie no more, so I make do with the patch at the back of the house. :'(
Carrots raw, spring onions, potato salad with chive dressing, and a tomato.
Now what could be better than to add the OH's home made sausage roll with a bit of bread and cheese. :)

Got them back now to put some tread on them

If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Some lovely all-year-round lettuce, regrowth from the stump left after cutting the original some weeks ago - it was delicious. Also some Swift spuds from a bucket, asparagus and radishes.
