mower ? no safety switch
« on: July 10, 2009, 08:15:57 »
I have offered to mow the lawn of a pensioner taking my own mower.   Its an electric one.   A friend wondered if there was a safety trip out, as  it is an old neglected property.  Is there any device which I could attach to the plug of my mower before plugging into his electric supply?  Advice/ info please.

Yes, you just need a plug-in RCD adapter but they're about £20.

One like this would do it:

Many thanks.  This site is so good.  I will pick one up later.  Thanks again for the quick reply.
