Are melons prone to 'wilt'?
« on: April 22, 2009, 09:22:41 »
I had 8 lovely healthy little melon seedlings coming on in the greenhouse and now I have 4  ??? the others seem to have developed wilt.  I isolated them when I first spotted signs of a problem but now dread that the remaining 4 will succumb.  Any thoughts or experience of melon husbandry welcome

very prone to root/foot/stem rots... try to water from below, but don't let compost get saturated...  :-\
