A few of my greens that are planted out have developed white edges to some leaves, (mizuna, mustard) or have simply adopted a slightly dusty, dull, whitish tinge to the leaves. (Purple sprouting broccoli seedlings). Could that be from low temperatures overnight, on occasion over this past week? Or is it something else? Wind burn? Or disease?
They are partly protected, i.e. I have put a bubble-wrap wind-break around them as it was so blustery. That's about 18" high, other than that, they aren't covered. We may have had a frost or near to one in the past week, but there are no other signs of damage.
The plants overall look like they'll survive, but have lost those leaves, and the PSB seedlings mostly look like they'll be OK.
Anybody know what it is?
