Self-blanching has a bad name. See earlier.
But I have to say that, despite a long drought, our Dobies' Celebrity have been ace. Really crunchy, very tasty & no strings, even on the outer stems. = Tim
PS The right-hand bit is the 'heart' of t'other.

They really do look top class Tim.Might have another go next year with those.Never had any luck with celery when i've tried before.
