When to plant out herbs

I am planning on one of my allotments to do a herb garden of mint Lavender Thyme etc when is the best time to plant out after the frosts or now i live in Horley near Gatwick

Mint, Lavender and Thyme should be fine outside in your area providing they have been hardened off.  Can't answer for the 'etc' unless you can be more specific.  :)

the etc is not sure what else to get yet  ;D have dill growing from seed in greenhouse see what else i fancy looking in the garden centre

All the hardy ones will be fine now, if "hardened off" IE bought in little pots that have been outside, tender ones like Basils no way yet, or if they are still keeping them inside at the GC, in which case they will need a bit of hardening off...  :-*
