Put some of my  potatoes and onions in at the weekend have I jumped the gun or will they be ok more onions to go in this weekend weather permitting

Depends where you are... Alaska might be pushing it but onion sets will be fine now in most of the UK, Spuds OK if a frost threatens after the leaves are showing cover them either with fleece or by earthing over them...  :)

I have 400 sets now growing well in cells, will harden them off over the next couple of weeks and get them "in" over Easter...  :)
